The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Project Controls Coordinator to join our Portfolio Management Office (PMO) – a function at the heart of project delivery performance, controls, and executive reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in project controls or PMO within construction or other operational sectors including manufacturing, automotive or aerospace. If you are passionate about supporting cost, schedule, and risk management processes and turning project data into meaningful insights that drive performance, we would love to hear from you.

What will the role look like?

You will report to the Control Room Lead and play a key role in coordinating project controls activities across multiple projects and functions. Your work will directly support performance reporting, governance, and informed decision-making across the portfolio.

You will:

  • Coordinate project controls activities, tracking actions to maintain delivery momentum and performance visibility
  • Support the collection and organisation of cost, schedule, and risk data across projects
  • Contribute to dashboards, trend analysis, and performance reporting for project and portfolio reviews
  • Support the development and improvement of project controls processes, particularly risk and opportunity management
  • Help improve how project data is integrated to provide a clear view of performance, trends, and risks
  • Assist with structured project controls reviews and cross-functional workshops

What skills & experience are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is organised, analytical, and detail-focused, with a strong interest in project controls and performance management.

You will bring:

  • Strong data and reporting skills (Power BI, MS Excel, or project management tools)
  • Experience supporting structured reporting cycles and performance tracking
  • Understanding of project controls principles, including cost, schedule, and risk management
  • Awareness of performance metrics, leading indicators, and governance reporting
  • Commercial awareness, including how cost and risk impact project and portfolio performance
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights

Ideal background:

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Experience as a PMO Analyst, Project Controller, or in a Project Controls/Coordination role (desirable)
  • Experience supporting cost, schedule, risk, or reporting functions within project delivery environments
  • Experience working across multiple teams and consolidating data into a single, clear narrative
  • Background in construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace
  • Experience supporting portfolio management, reporting, or planning functions (non-IT PMO)
  • Commercial acumen (desirable)
