Shape quality on a complex and meaningful project

We're looking for a Project Quality Manager to support delivery on our HMP Grendon project, helping to ensure high standards across a complex and controlled environment.

This could suit someone who enjoys working closely with project teams, influencing outcomes on site, and embedding a strong Right First Time culture across colleagues and supply chain partners.

We recognise that great candidates come from a range of backgrounds and experiences. If you're not sure you meet every requirement but feel this role could suit your strengths, we'd really welcome a conversation.

What you might be doing

  • Supporting the implementation of the Quality Management System across the project
  • Producing and maintaining the Project Quality Plan, ensuring quality principles are consistently applied
  • Providing guidance on key deliverables such as:
    • Inspection & Test Plans
    • Work procedures
    • Material approvals
  • Working closely with project teams and supply chain partners to deliver compliant, high-quality outcomes
  • Carrying out site engagement to:
    • Monitor quality of works
    • Coach and support teams
    • Reinforce a positive quality culture
  • Acting as a trusted voice on quality, raising risks and supporting solutions where needed
  • Driving progressive assurance and supporting the “golden thread” of quality records through to handover
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and helping teams deliver better outcomes
  • Using digital tools and data to support quality performance and decision-making

What we're looking for

  • Experience in quality, assurance or continuous improvement within construction or a complex, regulated environment
  • Confidence building relationships and working collaboratively across teams and supply chains
  • Ability to work in a dynamic project environment and balance priorities
  • Understanding of quality standards and systems (for example ISO 9001)
  • Experience of digital construction or assurance tools may be helpful
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Why this role stands out

  • Opportunity to help shape quality culture on a secure and high-impact project
  • A role with real influence on delivery outcomes, not just compliance
  • The chance to connect quality with productivity, risk reduction and client value
  • Contributing to a project that delivers long-term social value within a secure environment
  • Part of a business investing in innovation, digital delivery and continuous improvement

Working with us

You'll be joining a collaborative project team and a wider quality network across the business, with opportunities to learn, develop and build your career in quality leadership.

We're open to discussing flexible working arrangements where possible within a site-based role.
