Are you a detail-driven QA professional with a background in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering?

Do you want to play a key role in one of the UK's most complex and high-profile infrastructure projects?

Would you thrive in a delivery-focused, highly regulated environment where quality is mission critical?

Then come and join Crown House Technologies as we deliver the full mechanical and electrical fit-out of the Operations Service Centre at Hinkley Point C, the UK's flagship new nuclear power station.

We're looking for a dedicated MEP QA Engineer to help uphold the highest standards of quality assurance and control. You'll work within a world-class engineering team to ensure critical MEP systems are designed, installed, and documented to nuclear-grade standards.

About the Role

As MEP QA Engineer, you'll support the implementation and execution of CHt's Quality Management System (QMS) on site, ensuring robust QA frameworks and effective quality control processes are consistently applied throughout the project.

This is a key supporting role, reporting directly to the Project Quality Manager, and is vital to the successful delivery of a nuclear-grade facility. It would suit a methodical, technically-minded individual who wants to build a long-term career in a regulated, high-performance environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Interpreting contract quality requirements and ensuring alignment with client expectations, drawings and specifications.

  • Developing and enforcing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for MEP systems.

  • Conducting quality control site inspections, audits, and documentation reviews.

  • Supporting compliance with Lifetime Quality Record (LTQR) requirements.

  • Contributing to monthly quality KPI reports through data analysis and internal audits.

  • Collaborating with engineering and delivery teams to drive quality-first practices.

  • Offering consultative technical support on mechanical, electrical, HVAC or process instrumentation installations.

  • Supporting the prevention of counterfeit or non-conforming products (CFSI) through rigorous control processes.

  • Providing ongoing quality training and guidance to site teams.

What We're Looking For

  • A qualification in Quality Management and/or Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (NVQ Level 6–8 or equivalent).

  • 3+ years' experience in a QA/QC role within a highly regulated project environment.

  • Working knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems and relevant industry standards.

  • Confident with technical documents, audits, and construction records management.

  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
