General Operative [Logistics Coordinator]

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assist with planning, organising, and producing logistics paperwork including the documentation of photos of loads going out to projects.
  • Manage day to day office processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Input service and workshop information into relevant systems.
  • Support other areas such as workshops, stores, and yard operations when needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of parts, materials, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records in digital systems and contribute to KPI reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, clients, and internal teams via email and phone.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in all tasks.
  • Contribute to process improvements and promote best use of technology.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and assist in problem solving during operational challenges.

 

Key Skills

 

  • Experience in managing paperwork and digital records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to write clear, professional emails and communicate effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Adaptability to different environments, including outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in task management.

 

Qualifications & requirements

 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated software (essential).
  • CLAIT Level 3 or similar qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Good communication and written skills.
  • Full driver's license
  • Willingness to learn and assist with all office administration tasks, including supporting other areas as required.

 

Hourly rate £12.80
