Security Officer (Mobile).

Laing O'Rourke, on behalf of Select Security, are looking for a team of Security Officers for one of our projects building a new hospital just outside Airdrie.  Right now, we've got night security officer roles going, with 12-hour shifts ranging from 48-60 hours per week on a long-term basis.

We're after security officers who know their stuff when it comes to protecting premises and construction sites, keeping an eye out so no unauthorised visitors or members of the public accidentally wander into dangerous areas.  You'll mainly be mobile in a site vehicle, patrolling remote work spots and dealing with CCTV activations across the site.

What we can offer:

  • Great pay rate of £14 per hour
  • Start straight away
  • Full uniform and PPE sorted for you
  • Extra training, support, and access to company perks
  • Around 54 hours per week on average

 What we're looking for:

  • Valid SIA licence in either security guarding, door supervisor, or close protection
  • UK driving licence
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Someone who works well in a big security team and gets on with others on the project
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • A professional approach with good judgement and integrity

Don't match all the criteria? We are open and always happy to hear from people with transferable skill sets and a commitment to learning.
