Step into a role where you'll be at the centre of storytelling, collaboration and connection across our business. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs team, you'll work closely with colleagues, leaders and project teams to shape the way we communicate, both internally and externally. This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys building relationships and wants to contribute directly to a high‑performing team.

Based in our Dartford office, you'll be an essential part of our day to day operations, working side by side with the team to create engaging content, support major initiatives and bring our brand and culture to life.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Create engaging content for internal channels: announcements, newsletters, campaigns, project features, storytelling and filmed pieces.
  • Support leadership engagement events and help communicate our purpose, values and strategy.
  • Produce content for external media channels including owned and earned platforms.
  • Build strong working relationships with an allocated set of projects and functions.
  • Provide guidance and support to shape communication priorities aligned with Corporate Affairs goals.
  • Work with client communication teams to share stories that showcase our projects and people.
  • Develop high‑quality written and visual content.
  • Support the ongoing development of our internal communication channels.
  • Contribute to measuring and evaluating communication performance.
  • Support media and crisis communications activity when needed.
  • Travel to projects, depots and facilities (including occasional overnight stays).

What You'll Bring:

  • At least 2 years' experience in corporate communications (internal or external).
  • Strong writing skills and excellent verbal communication.
  • Confidence, warmth and a personable approach — someone who enjoys working with people at all levels.
  • Proven ability to create engaging content.
  • Strong organisation, time management and the ability to prioritise in a fast‑moving environment.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn.
  • Interest in social media, the UK media landscape and emerging communication trends.
  • A collaborative team spirit and a desire to be fully involved.

Desirable (Happy to provide training):

  • Video or podcast production/editing.
  • Social media management and analytics.
  • Press office or crisis communication exposure.
  • Experience in change communications.
  • SharePoint or similar CMS experience.
  • Social media planning and media monitoring tools.
