Tower Crane Electrician

A vacancy has arisen within our Tower Crane Maintenance Team.

To provide a professional service to the company's customers, both external and internal, working in our main Cambridgeshire depot.

You will provide maintenance support for our fleet of construction tower cranes as well as pre-delivery diagnostics.

 

The successful candidate will require the following:

  • Suitable experienced Tower Crane Electrician with appropriate electrical qualifications to work on all aspects relating to servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosing of tower cranes and assisting the team where required.
  • Relevant JIB/ECS card preferred.
  • Attend inductions and briefings, read, understand and implement relevant task sheets, method statements and safe systems of work.
  • Use of our internal system to log, close and update completed works along with completing paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with management and supervisors regarding work requirements and problem solving.
  • Satisfactory completion of a recognised NVQ level 3 in electrical installation.
  • Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry preferable.
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to work outside normal hours.
  • Previous Terex/Comedil experience preferred but not essential.
  • Ensure effective implementation of company policies and procedures, including proactive safety engagement.
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification and 18th Edition certification (Preferred).

 

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
