- Act as the primary Social Value lead for the client, managing relationships and presenting project performance.
- Embed Social Value requirements into procurement activities and work closely with the supply chain to maximise opportunities.
- Monitor, measure, and report Social Value outcomes through data analysis, case studies, and performance reporting.
- Drive engagement across project teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Support work-winning activities by providing Social Value evidence, reporting, and best practice examples.
- Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement across the wider business.

- Knowledge of embedding Social Value within procurement and supply chain activities.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- A sound understanding of Social Value priorities, including employment, education, skills, and regeneration.
- Good knowledge of the West Yorkshire region, its communities, and key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience measuring, analysing, and reporting Social Value outcomes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- An understanding of Laing O'Rourke's Sustainability Strategy and Social Value ambitions would be advantageous.
