Purpose of the Role

To inspect and verify product quality, ensuring company, client, and industry standards are met while supporting continuous improvement in quality, safety, and production performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect products and materials to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Identify and report non-conformances promptly to enable corrective action.
  • Complete inspections and approvals in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records through quality management systems.
  • Raise and monitor CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) reports for quality issues.
  • Support quality assurance activities across production areas.
  • Provide regular updates on quality performance and inspection outcomes.

Key Objectives

  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and production efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with the Quality team to achieve performance targets.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of quality assurance principles and business processes.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Good quality assurance and inspection knowledge.
  • Excellent IT and communication skills.
  • Ability to read engineering and reinforcement drawings.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
  • Trade background with relevant quality control or production experience.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent).

Desirable

  • Experience within a large manufacturing or multinational organisation.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development through training or qualifications.
