What is the Great Grid Upgrade?
The Great Grid Upgrade is the largest overhaul of the UK's electricity transmission network in generations. Working collaboratively with National Grid, project partners, designers, subcontractors and internal teams, you'll drive performance across all aspects of project delivery.
You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee project planning and resource management, manage commercial performance, and ensure effective implementation of Laing O'Rourke's project management systems and processes. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on a nationally important infrastructure programme while championing innovation, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
