Crown House Technologies (CHt), the specialist MEP business within Laing O'Rourke, is seeking exceptional Project Directors to lead the successful delivery of major healthcare, data centre and life sciences projects valued in excess of £1bn, with MEP packages ranging from £250m-£300m+.
These career-defining opportunities will see you take end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of world-class facilities, from early client engagement and pre-construction through to commissioning, handover and operational readiness. Current and future projects include major healthcare schemes, hyperscale data centre campuses and nationally significant science and research infrastructure programmes.
The Opportunity
As Project Director, you will provide strategic leadership across all aspects of project delivery, leading large multidisciplinary teams and complex supply chains to safely deliver high-quality, commercially successful outcomes.
Working as part of the senior leadership team, you will be accountable for project performance, stakeholder engagement, engineering excellence, commercial success and client satisfaction on projects where certainty of delivery is critical.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience leading major MEP packages valued at £150m+ within projects exceeding £500M.
- A successful track record delivering complex healthcare, data centre, life sciences, mission-critical infrastructure or high assurance projects.
- Outstanding leadership capability with experience managing large-scale project teams and specialist supply chains.
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management expertise.
- Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering qualifications, supported by extensive major project delivery experience.
- A passion for safety, innovation, quality and operational excellence.
