We're looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join our team and play a key role in delivering financial insight, supporting business performance, and driving informed decision-making across the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified or post-graduate finance professional who wants to broaden their commercial experience, work closely with senior stakeholders, and gain exposure to forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and business planning within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, providing clear commentary on financial performance, key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Review and report on recharge centres and designated overhead cost centres, ensuring accurate cost allocation and visibility of expenditure.
- Produce monthly workload summaries and management information for both internal and external activities.
- Manage weekly cash flow forecasting and reporting.
- Support quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and periodic business reviews.
- Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances and trends.
- Partner with commercial and operational stakeholders, providing financial insight to support decision-making.
- Develop strong working relationships across the business to promote financial accountability and understanding.
- Support external audit activities and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal reporting requirements.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting systems.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support business projects as required.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong financial reporting and analytical capability.
- Experience in building relationships with stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience of performance measurement and business case preparation.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A collaborative, resilient, and continuous improvement mindset.
