Groundworker - Deep Drainage & Ducting

Location

Monklands Project, Scotland

Duties

• Carry out deep drainage and ducting works in line with project specifications.
• Installation of drainage systems, manholes, chambers and associated infrastructure.
• Excavation, pipe laying, backfilling and reinstatement works.
• Operate plant and equipment where authorised.
• Assist with general groundworks activities as required.
• Work safely and in accordance with company procedures and site requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Follow instructions from Supervisors and Site Management.
• Attend site briefings, toolbox talks and training as required.
• Promote health, safety and environmental standards at all times.

Experience / Skills Required

• Proven experience in deep drainage and ducting works within construction or civil engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of excavation safety and underground services.
• Ability to read and work from drawings and site instructions.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Previous construction site experience.
• Ability to travel to the project location.
• Dumper and/or Roller tickets desirable.
