Groundworks Supervisor

Rate
£21.90 - £24.40 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct supervision of groundworks operations on site, ensuring all works are executed safely and in accordance with the project programme.
• Coordinate and manage operatives and subcontractors across multiple work fronts.
• Oversee drainage, excavation, concreting and finishing operations.
• Ensure strict adherence to company and client health and safety requirements and procedures.
• Maintain accurate site records and prepare required reports in a timely manner.
• Liaise effectively with Site Management and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor and report on productivity levels and quality standards.
• Conduct and deliver toolbox talks and site briefings as required.
• Assist with the planning and coordination of labour, plant and materials.
Essential Experience and Skills
• SSSTS qualification (Essential)
• Valid CSCS Card
• Demonstrable previous experience in a Groundworks Supervisory capacity
• Proven leadership and communication capabilities
• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety requirements and legislation
• Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate site teams effectively
• Experience on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects is highly desirable
