Rate of Pay
£17.80 - £21.90 per hour (depending on experience)
Duties
• Carry out all aspects of groundworks including excavation, drainage, ducting, concreting and finishing works.
• Assist with site preparation and general construction activities.
• Operate small plant and tools where authorised.
• Work safely and in accordance with company procedures and site requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Follow instructions from Supervisors and Site Management.
• Attend site briefings, toolbox talks and training as required.
• Promote health, safety and environmental standards at all times.
Experience/Skills Required
• Previous groundworks experience within construction or civil engineering environments.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Experience in drainage, concreting and general groundworks activities desirable.
Requirements
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Previous construction site experience.
• Ability to travel to the Preston project location.
