We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Employee Relations Coordinator to support the effective delivery of the organisation's Employee Relations (ER) function. This role is well suited to someone with a strong administrative or coordination background who is looking to apply their transferable skills within a professional, high‑trust environment.
The role plays a critical part in ensuring ER cases are managed efficiently, documentation is accurate and compliant, and employees and managers receive a consistent, high‑quality service. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and maintaining the ER case management tracker, ensuring cases are accurately logged, updated, and progressed to closure
- Monitoring case activity, tracking deadlines, and prompting ER Partners on outstanding actions and next steps
- Acting as the first point of contact for the ER inbox, triaging queries, prioritising urgent matters, and allocating cases appropriately
- Attending ER meetings such as investigations, disciplinary hearings, and grievance meetings, producing clear, accurate, and impartial notes
- Drafting ER correspondence, including investigation invitations, outcome letters, confirmation letters, and other case‑related documentation
- Identifying potential risk indicators within cases and escalating concerns promptly to ER Advisors or leadership
- Maintaining accurate, confidential records in line with GDPR and organisational policies
- Supporting ER reporting by preparing case summaries, dashboards, and insight on trends, themes, and volumes
- Providing guidance to managers on ER processes, templates, and policies where appropriate
- Supporting continuous improvement of ER processes, templates, systems, and ways of working
Desired
- Proven experience in an administrative, coordination, or operational support role, with strong transferable skills
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A self‑starter who demonstrates initiative, ownership, and the ability to work independently
- Strong written communication skills, particularly in relation to formal documentation and note‑taking
- Confidence handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Comfortable interacting with employees and managers at all levels
- Experience working in a fast‑paced or complex environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Exposure to HR or employee relations processes, or an interest in developing a career within ER (desirable but not essential)
