Deputy Design Manager

Location: London – Watford

We're looking for a Deputy Design Manager to play a key role in delivering high-quality, buildable and compliant design solutions across major projects. This is an opportunity to step into a role where you'll not just manage design, but actively improve how it is delivered.

What you'll be doing

Reviewing design information to ensure it is complete, compliant and aligned to programme, safety and buildability
Managing the flow of design information across all project stages
Supporting the coordination of consultants and design partners
Driving collaborative design reviews and resolving technical queries
Monitoring design progress and reporting against plans
Supporting construction and handover activities from a design perspective

What we're looking for

Background in architecture or engineering (civil, structural, mechanical or electrical) or similar
Experience working with design consultants and delivery teams
Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
Able to manage competing priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Confident communicator who can work across multiple stakeholders
