Data Analyst – Knowledge Transfer Manager

Location: Ipswich Project Office / Sizewell C Site   

Join the exciting Sizewell C (SZC) project as a Data Analyst and Knowledge Transfer Manager within the Main Civil Work Support (MCW) team. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing and analysing data from Hinckley Point C (HPC), organising technical workshops, and developing efficient data management tools and processes. Your work will support strategic decision-making, enhance information flow, and contribute to the MCW's Productivity Improvement Plan on this landmark infrastructure project.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and organise workshops with HPC, collaborating with MCW leads and SZC Strategy and Transformation teams to optimise data and knowledge transfer.
  • Establish and maintain communication channels within SZC and with HPC to support effective knowledge sharing and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, ensuring high data quality through collection, cleansing, validation, and analysis.
  • Conduct bespoke data investigations to identify system anomalies, drive product development, and support process improvements.
  • Create semi-automated analytical processes, document methodologies, and visualise data for performance management and reporting.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making by sharing insights, representing the programme in forums, and supporting the CWA data strategy.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Strong data management and analytical skills, with experience handling large datasets and developing user-focused tools and reports.
  • Expertise in Power BI dashboard creation and hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Solid understanding of Office 365 tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with data warehousing, process automation, and machine learning tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with model-driven apps and related technologies (e.g. JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, GIS packages, statistics, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a highly collaborative, customer-focused approach.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to technical and business challenges, and work effectively both on-site and remotely.
  • Experience in the construction industry or on large infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrates ability to gather user requirements and translate them into effective reporting and analytical solutions
  • Proven experience developing others and contributing to team capability building.
