Role Overview and the Purpose of the role:

Procurement Assistant - responsible for the acquisition of services and goods for the business, both at project & central level.

Key Responsibilities – What you'll do:

Procurement Assistant - responsible for the acquisition of services and goods for the business, both at project & central level.

  • Assist in sourcing and engaging a compliant supply chain.
  • Prepare and issue tender documentation.
  • Coordinate input from experts during evaluations.
  • Support supplier and subcontractor negotiations,
  • Award
  • Help draft, issue, and finalise contracts under supervision.
  • Record agreements and approvals in digital procurement tools.
  • Support contract award processes, ensuring compliance,
  • Reporting
  • Collect and update supplier performance data.
  • Assist in presenting management information to project teams.
  • Maintain accurate records to support audit readiness,
  • Market Knowledge
  • Carry out supplier research and contribute to market analysis.
  • Stay aware of industry developments and legislative changes.
  • Share relevant findings with project teams,
  • Strategic
  • Build relationships with suppliers aligned with LOR values.
  • Continue study toward professional qualifications.
  • Proactively seek feedback and guidance from senior colleagues.

Additional Information

Location: National, Dartford

We are recruiting for locations that we anticipate having Early Talent roles for at the time of our next programme commencement. Please note that due to the nature of the business, there could be changes to locations noted.

Our projects are based across the UK (National) so you'll need to be prepared to be flexible about where you work. Depending on project requirements, this may involve travelling, staying away from home during the week, or relocating closer to a project site. In return, you'll gain valuable experience working on a variety of projects, helping you develop your skills and broaden your career opportunities.
