Role Overview and the Purpose of the role:

The role is vital in assessing and informing early stage project costs and affordability assessments. Helping Laing O'Rourke secure our future pipeline of projects and offer our Clients best value for money solutions.

It harnesses the power of both our external supply chain partners and internal self delivery colleagues to accurately forecast costs spanning from development of cost plans to detailed pricing project costs prior to contract.

Key Responsibilities – What you'll do:

  • Assist in building up early stage project cost forecast calculations and reports, cost planning and benchmarking.

Commercial, Surveying, Planning, Delivery roles

The following Degree Subjects are suitable for this role:

Maths, Sciences, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying.

Additional Information

Location: Dartford, Sale, Birmingham

We are recruiting for locations that we anticipate having Early Talent roles for at the time of our next programme commencement. Please note that due to the nature of the business, there could be changes to locations noted.

 

Our projects are based across the UK (National) so you'll need to be prepared to be flexible about where you work. Depending on project requirements, this may involve travelling, staying away from home during the week, or relocating closer to a project site. In return, you'll gain valuable experience working on a variety of projects, helping you develop your skills and broaden your career opportunities.
