Senior Social Value Assurance Advisor
Location: Hybrid / Remote - option to work out of one of our regional offices / project sites or work remotely
Part Time - 3 days / Week
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Social Value systems, processes, and assurance mechanisms. This role ensures accurate, insight-driven reporting, strong governance, and high-quality evidence management, while supporting a shift to outcomes-led, nationally consistent Social Value delivery across the business lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Process Development

Design and implement Social Value systems, tools, templates, and evidence standards.

Lead rollout of digital solutions and streamlined workflows for data collection, validation, and reporting.

Collaborate with Data, IT, and Finance to enable integrated, automated reporting.
Data, Insights & Reporting

Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Translate data into clear insights, reports, and impact stories for internal and external audiences.

Maintain consistent, audit-ready evidence repositories.
Audit & Assurance
-
Lead internal and external audit preparation and responses.

Conduct assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and standards alignment.

Manage the Audit & Assurance Calendar and resolve recurring data issues.
Governance & Compliance

Maintain a robust controls framework aligned with IES, PPN 06/20, and governance requirements.

Oversee the Social Value Risk Register and support supply chain compliance on evidence standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration

Advise project and bid teams on metrics, evidence, and reporting requirements.

Partner with Communications to deliver data-driven impact narratives.

Support training materials and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of Social Value frameworks (e.g. IES, PPN 06/20).

Experience with assurance systems, reporting frameworks, or data governance.

Strong analytical and data storytelling skills.

High attention to detail and evidence-based approach.

Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Problem-solving mindset with experience driving process improvements.
