Senior I&M Engineer

Laing O'Rourke/Expanded are currently recruiting for a Senior I&M Engineer

Projects include Sizewell C and various Laing O'Rourke projects in the London, the south-east and country-wide.

The I&M Engineer is responsible for assisting the I&M and Survey Manager for the management and review for the Instrumentation and Monitoring works for the duration of the project, and is responsible for assisting in reporting to the Client and attending review meetings. Support close out and handover of the I&M works when the relevant phase of the project is completed.

Responsibilities:

• The detailed design and implementation of the Instrumentation and Monitoring systems
• On-site installation of monitoring equipment
• Collection and analysis of automated and manual data
• Maintenance of existing systems on site including site visit
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors

The type of knowledge that will help you thrive in the role or add to your skill set include:

• Leica Equipment and software (3DR) Proficient
• Experience using Starnet
• Cutting-edge IT skills and confidence with new technology (Leica)
