Location: Ipswich Project Office / London with Hybrid Working
Join the exciting journey of one of the UK's largest nuclear projects at Sizewell C!
Step into a pivotal role at one of the UK's largest and most ambitious nuclear projects, Sizewell C. As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), you'll be at the forefront of delivering a groundbreaking 3.2-gigawatt power station, supplying low-carbon electricity to around 6 million homes. This is your chance to make a real impact—not only in advancing the UK's energy future but also in shaping how we harness HR technology and data to drive strategic workforce decisions.
As the HR Systems and Data Manager, you will lead the optimisation and evolution of HR technology across the alliance. Working closely with CWA and Sizewell IT teams, you'll ensure systems are efficient, user-centric, and fully aligned with workforce needs. By championing the CWA Intelligence data strategy, you'll unlock the power of HR data to support insightful decision-making and embed a consistent, governed approach to HR data management across the alliance.
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems Management
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of HR systems, including HRIS, ATS, and LMS.
- Collaborate with IT, vendors, clients, and HR stakeholders to ensure systems fully support project requirements.
- Manage system upgrades, integrations, and resolve technical issues to maintain seamless operation.
- Deliver training and support to HR users, driving system adoption and user confidence.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain comprehensive HR dashboards and reports (e.g., turnover, headcount, EDI, IDESP) using Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
- Utilize data modelling and advanced analytics to uncover trends, forecast workforce needs, and guide strategic decision-making.
- Present clear, actionable insights to HR leadership and business units across the Civil Works Alliance.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with GDPR requirements.
- Lead HR Master Data Management aligned with the CWA Intelligence Master Data Strategy and the hub and spoke model.
- Define standardised HR metrics to support consistent and cross-functional reporting.
Strategic & Operational Support
- Provide strategic support for workforce forecasting and organisational development through data-driven insights.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives within HR processes and operations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on HR data governance, compliance, and reporting standards.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in HR systems management and data analytics roles.
- Proficient with leading HRIS platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
- Advanced skills in Power BI, Tableau, and Excel, with a solid understanding of data modelling techniques.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and best practices in data privacy and compliance.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven experience in project delivery and managing change effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Tech-savvy and passionate about driving continuous improvement through innovative solutions.
