Are you curious, people-driven, and ready to make a real impact? We're on the lookout for an energetic, forward-thinking individual to take on a critical role in recruiting the next generation of apprentices, graduates, and early talent into the construction and engineering industry.
We are seeking an Early Talent Recruitment specialist who will be the engine behind our graduate and apprentice recruitment efforts – making sure the process runs smoothly, stakeholders are supported, and candidates have an outstanding experience from start to finish. You will ensure assessments are conducted fairly, consistently, and inclusively, challenging assessor decisions where necessary to uphold our Diversity & Inclusion standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end early talent recruitment, from campaign launch to offer stage – across digital, virtual, and in-person channels.
- Facilitate and oversee the Assessment Centre process – booking venues, managing logistics, preparing materials, and supporting candidates on the day.
- Ensure all assessment activities adhere to Diversity & Inclusion principles and organisational policies.
- Support assessors in calibration discussions, scoring, and providing feedback.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of assessment centre processes and materials
- Champion the candidate experience – engage with applicants, track progress, and ensure smooth communication throughout.
- Identify trends to improve performance
- Support the Programme team with ad hoc duties
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Thrives on organisation and problem-solving
- Enjoys connecting with people and building relationships
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence to challenge decisions diplomatically.
- Ability to maintain impartiality and objectivity while supporting assessors.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple activities in a structured manner.
- Knowledge of graduate or apprenticeship recruitment processes is desirable.
- Strong digital and data skills (Excel, PowerBI, SharePoint, ATS/LMS platforms).
- Experience in recruitment coordination, event management, or a similar administrative role.
