We are proud to have been appointed to deliver the M&E fit out of the Operations Service Centre (OSC) at Hinkley Point C. The OSC will become an impressive nine-storey building housing all the essential support functions required to operate the power station — including offices, a medical centre, data centre, warehouse, workshops, laboratories, and a canteen. It will be home to around 350 workers once operational and provide access control to both the Nuclear and Conventional Islands.

What will the role look like?
The Project Planner role is responsible for programming, planning, monitoring, reporting, and implementing mitigation measures for the services elements of the project now in delivery.

Manage and maintain live project programmes, monitoring progress against key milestones.

Coordinate and integrate MEP planning activities across all site operations.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective sequencing and delivery.

Review and update plans to reflect on-site progress, change, and new information.

Analyse performance data, identify risks or delays, and recommend mitigation strategies.

Support change management processes by assessing the impact of design and schedule changes.

Provide accurate reporting and forecasting to support project decision-making.
What skills & experience are we looking for?

Experienced Project Planner with strong MEP knowledge and a background in live, complex construction environments.

Skilled in Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject, ideally with 4D planning and digital modelling experience.

Proven experience managing project schedules, analysing progress, and driving performance on site.

Ability to coordinate with subcontractors and manage programme impacts arising from changes or interface issues.

Strong understanding of MEP construction techniques and ideally an HNC / Degree in an MEP or engineering-related field.

Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills, with the ability to forecast and present project data effectively.
