Would you like to be part of a project that genuinely makes a difference to patients and communities?

Do you want to grow your career working on major healthcare schemes?

Then Crown House Technologies is the company for you!

If you're a Mechanical Project Engineer who wants to work on a project with real purpose where quality, care and engineering excellence truly matter we'd love to hear from you.

We're delivering one of the most important healthcare projects in the South East – the Brighton 3Ts Phase 2 development, a state‑of‑the‑art dedicated cancer care facility serving patients across the whole of the Sussex region.

This is more than just another build. It's an opportunity to play a key role in shaping a hospital that will transform cancer care, patient experience and clinical outcomes for decades to come. The scheme showcases our expertise in delivering complex, highly serviced healthcare environments and reinforces our reputation as a leading hospital builder.

The Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join the project team, supporting the delivery of mechanical building services on this flagship healthcare development.

You'll work closely with the Project Manager, commercial team, consultants and supply chain to ensure mechanical packages are delivered safely, compliantly, on programme and to the highest quality standards expected in a live healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of mechanical services packages (HVAC, medical gases, LTHW/CHW, pipework systems)
  • Coordinate with design teams to manage technical queries, design development and approvals
  • Manage subcontractors on site, ensuring quality, safety and programme compliance
  • Attend coordination meetings and contribute to problem solving and sequencing
  • Support testing, commissioning and handover processes
  • Ensure works comply with HTMs, standards and healthcare regulations

What do we look for?

  • Background in mechanical or building services engineering
  • Experience working on healthcare or complex M&E projects (or a strong desire to specialise in healthcare)
  • Good technical understanding of mechanical systems in building environments
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
  • Organised, detail‑oriented and motivated to deliver high‑quality outcomes
  • Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
