Project Co-Ordinator – Precast Concrete Manufacturing
Location: Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction (CEMC), Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Step off site and into the future of construction.
This is your chance to be part of something genuinely game-changing.
At Laing O'Rourke, we're redefining how the UK builds – and it all starts at our Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction in Worksop. Home to Explore Manufacturing, Europe's most automated concrete products facility, the CEMC delivers major infrastructure projects with industry-leading quality, efficiency and sustainability.
From modular bridges to advanced precast components, our manufacturing-led approach is transforming traditional construction – and we're looking for a Project Co-Ordinator to help drive this innovation.
The Opportunity
As Project Co-Ordinator, you'll play a pivotal role as the link between design, manufacturing, and on-site assembly, supporting major UK construction and infrastructure projects.
This role is ideal for a site engineer or construction manager seeking an office-based position, looking to deepen their knowledge of precast manufacturing and grow their career within modern construction delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee the supply of products to the project to the agreed specification, with assured delivery in sequence and time.
- Provide a single point of contact for programming, technical, production, delivery and quality issues.
- Ensure that the client requirements on projects including scope, programme, specification and design information are understood by the team to inform the delivery plan.
- Monitor progress of all elements of design, delivery and supply chain.
- Attend site progress, coordination meetings and workshops, investigating any customer complaints/NCRs as required.
What We're Looking For
-
Degree-qualified in Construction or Civil Engineering.
-
Experience with precast concrete is beneficial but not essential.
-
Strong communication and coordination skills – you act as the “glue” between teams.
-
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the drive to keep projects moving.
We value potential over perfection.
If you don't tick every box but bring relevant experience and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
