Crown House Technologies are currently delivering the full MEP scope for the Ellison Institute of Technology's Oxford Campus – a world-class facility combining over 30,000m² of research laboratories, an oncology and wellness clinic, and collaborative spaces focused on solving humanity's most pressing challenges.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take ownership of the mechanical engineering packages, overseeing all aspects from design and procurement through to installation, commissioning, and handover. This is a high-profile and technically complex project, ideal for a dynamic leader with strong project management skills and mechanical expertise.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading and managing the full delivery of the mechanical systems package from inception to closeout.
  • Developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to meet client and company expectations.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams including engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
  • Championing health and safety compliance and embedding a positive safety culture across all mechanical works.
  • Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks while resolving issues promptly and driving continuous improvement.
  • Overseeing quality assurance, system commissioning, and comprehensive project close-out documentation.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing complex mechanical packages on large-scale construction projects, ideally within life sciences, healthcare, or similarly regulated sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience motivating and developing engineering and project teams.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across diverse teams.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a relentless focus on delivering projects on time, to budget, and to the highest quality standards.
