Join a major UK infrastructure programme delivering complex MEP‑led building packages.
We're expanding our Health, Safety & Wellbeing team to support two highly technical building packages within a nationally significant high‑speed rail programme. These works involve the construction and fit‑out of large MEP‑intensive buildings that house critical rail systems—making this a unique opportunity to influence safety across a multi‑disciplinary, high‑performance environment.

What you'll be doing
In this role, you'll become a trusted partner to engineering, construction, and commissioning teams as you:
- Support the safe delivery of large MEP building packages including mechanical plant rooms, electrical systems, control rooms, and specialist rail systems environments.
- Conduct regular site inspections, assurance reviews, and wellbeing engagements, offering constructive coaching and support.
- Work closely with construction, MEP, and commissioning teams to embed safe systems of work during installation, testing, and energisation.
- Analyse safety and wellbeing trends, contributing to proactive interventions and continuous improvement.
- Drive HS&W campaigns and initiatives that foster a positive culture across a diverse workforce.
- Promote collaboration between site teams and supply chain partners to ensure consistent, best‑practice standards.
What we're looking for
A confident and engaging HS&W professional who is passionate about helping people work safely in dynamic, technical environments.
Essential:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience in construction, MEP installation, building services, or major infrastructure
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Proactive, solutions‑focused approach
Desirable:
- TechIOSH or working towards
- Experience in commissioning, energisation, or multi‑disciplinary building projects
- Wellbeing or mental health advocate training
