Support the safe delivery of complex concrete structures on one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure programmes.

We're looking for an engaging and proactive Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to join our team on a major UK transport infrastructure scheme. The role focuses on supporting the installation of large concrete structural elements, including concrete cladding units, delivered within a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary construction environment.

If you thrive on being out on site, partnering with operational teams, and influencing safe behaviours, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a project of national significance.

What you'll be doing

You'll work closely with site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure safe and compliant delivery of concrete structural works. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day‑to‑day HS&W support during concrete cladding unit installation and wider structural activities.
  • Carrying out site inspections, behavioural observations, and compliance checks to promote safe working practices.
  • Supporting teams working near overhead lines and rail interfaces, ensuring appropriate controls are understood and applied.
  • Helping operational teams plan safe systems of work and embed effective risk management.
  • Monitoring trends, promoting learning, and contributing to proactive prevention strategies.
  • Fostering a positive safety culture built on engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This is a full‑time, site‑based role, working closely with teams to deliver safely every day.

What we're looking for

Essential:

  • NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Health & Safety Advisor
  • Construction site experience within building or infrastructure (Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment)
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to influence behaviours on site
  • A practical, solutions‑focused mindset

Preferred (not essential):

  • Experience working near overhead lines or rail infrastructure
  • Understanding of concrete structures or heavy civil engineering

Why join us?

  • Play a key role in delivering a complex concrete structures package within a nationally significant infrastructure programme
  • Work directly with experienced construction teams in a hands‑on, practical HS&W role
  • Be part of a supportive environment where safety and wellbeing are truly valued
  • Opportunities for progression, professional development, and further qualifications

Help shape safer construction on a project that will leave a lasting legacy.

If you're passionate about safety, want to work on large, technically challenging structures, and enjoy being actively involved on site, we'd love to hear from you.
