We are delivering the electronic security scope for Calderdale Hospital — a significant healthcare environment requiring robust, reliable, and fully integrated security systems to support critical operations and patient safety.
As part of this project, we are implementing an enterprise-level security solution including IP CCTV, access control, intruder detection, and centralised video management systems. This role will involve close coordination across multiple disciplines to ensure compliance, resilience, and the highest standards of operational security throughout the hospital environment.

What is the role?
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of engineering delivery, project controls, quality assurance and successful handover ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest technical standards.

- Leading the engineering and delivery of enterprise-scale electronic security systems
- Managing project controls, installation performance and quality standards
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors and internal teams
- Providing technical guidance and holding regular coordination meetings
- Producing RAMS, method statements and project reports
- Identifying and implementing value engineering opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with H&S legislation, security standards and performance controls
- Driving successful commissioning and handover
What are we looking for?
We're seeking a technically strong and commercially aware Project Manager with experience delivering complex security systems.
- A proven track record of successful project delivery within electronic security
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of current H&S legislation and relevant security standards (BSEN, NSI etc.)
- A recognised technical qualification (C&G, HNC/HND or equivalent in security systems)
- Experience delivering large enterprise-scale electronic security systems
- Configuration experience with front-end VMS platforms (e.g. Milestone), Intruder systems (e.g. Galaxy) and Access Control programming
- A good understanding of IP networks
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience installing and commissioning IP CCTV, IP-based access control and intruder alarm systems
- Understanding of engineering requirements and risk mitigation for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems
