Business Development Manager – Modular Accommodation (South)

Location: South – Field-based

At Select, part of Laing O'Rourke, we specialise in delivering innovative modular accommodation solutions tailored to meet the needs of modern construction and infrastructure projects.

Are you a motivated business developer looking for your next challenge? Ideally, you'll have experience in modular accommodation or construction, but we're open to conversations with candidates from other industries who are passionate about building relationships and winning business.

About the Role
As Business Development Manager – South, you'll help grow our presence, create new opportunities, and support revenue growth across private and public sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain client relationships, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities.
  • Build a pipeline of new business and drive opportunities to successful conversion.
  • Support cross-selling opportunities within the wider Select Modular Accommodation business.
  • Work with operations to ensure smooth project handovers.
  • Maintain CRM records and provide monthly pipeline reports.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales or business development; modular accommodation or construction experience is ideal but not essential.
  • Results-driven, organiSed, and self-motivated.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently in a field-based role.

Other Considerations

  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
