Area Security Supervisor

Laing O'Rourke, working in partnership with Select Security, is looking for an Area Security Supervisor to look after our team across the North and Midlands.

As our Area Supervisor, you'll support and keep an eye on security operations at various construction sites, sort out staff schedules, lead and motivate a brilliant team of security officers, and make sure everything runs smoothly and safely.

We're after someone who's a natural leader with a solid work ethic, decent computer skills, and great organisational capabilities.

What you'll be doing and what you'll need:

• Lead, motivate and mentor our team of security officers across the region
• Check in on the team to make sure everyone's doing well
• SIA Licence: You'll need a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence
• UK Driving Licence: Full, valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Work out where to deploy security staff to keep our clients happy and maintain top-notch service
• Report Management: Use computer systems to create and keep track of incident reports, activity logs and other paperwork
• Build good working relationships with everyone involved in projects by staying in touch with the Security Supervisor, dealing with any issues and making sure security needs are covered
• Handle any security-related emergencies that crop up, keeping everyone and everything safe
