The opportunity to work on this project as a Senior Engineer should not be missed.

Laing O'Rourke is an international engineering and construction company delivering state-of-the-art infrastructure and buildings projects for clients in the UK, Middle East and Australia 

Daily activities include:

  • Checking, reporting, assessing risk and managing scopes of work
  • Physical inspections and creation of checklist against designs
  • Using engineering judgement for correct response to challenges
  • Liaison with stakeholders appropriate to the project
  • Understanding of Temporary works (TWC)
  • Management of Subcontractors
  • Reporting into the Principal Engineer on a large package of works.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate instructions and pre-construction methods are in place.
  • Experience of construction sequencing
  • Knowledge of insitu and off-site engineering methods
  • Able to understand the benefits of BIM
  • Managing a team of between 2-5 Section Engineers

Daily activities include:

  • First degree in Civil Engineering Discipline, other construction related degree, or an industry recognised technical or engineering qualification (e.g. HNC, HND, NVQ level 4) plus demonstrable experience in a construction delivery environment.
  • Eligible to work in the UK / valid UK visa
  • Professionally qualified / chartered by a recognised body - desirable
