As our Procurement Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a market-leading procurement service. Through smart supplier engagement and category management, you'll add real value to projects and help set new standards in client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Category Strategy as directed by the Category Procurement Leader
  • Develop robust, sustainable and effective working relationships with vendors, clients and 
    the project team to deliver exemplary performance and value
  • Procure each category/sub-category on a vertical basis across all projects
  • Rigorously challenge all aspects of the cost base providing cost-effective delivery options
    and supporting detail to assist the bid & project teams
  • Identify opportunities to introduce DfMA and self-delivery scope via affiliates
  • Champion innovation proposing new or alternative methods, materials, products and 
    systems which offer enhanced value and increase competitive advantage

Essential:

  • Has experience in the selection of appropriate category strategies in order to maximise tender 
    opportunities
  • Project procurement background experience with category specific activity of all associated packages
  • Experienced in the use of preferred focused supply chain including both subcontractors and suppliers 
    within a project environment
  • Has experience in concluding evaluations and providing recommendations to relevant parties and 
    obtaining the appropriate approvals
