About the role:
We are looking for a high calibre Management Accountant to join Select as the Finance Lead for one or more of our divisions. This is a key position, working closely with business unit directors, central finance, and our commercial and operational teams across the company. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a progressive, forward-thinking business while gaining valuable exposure to senior stakeholders. What will the role look like?
- Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for Division.
- Prepare monthly management accounts packs for FL review.
- Presentation of Divisional financials at monthly contract reviews
- Business partner with Divisional leader to drive Divisional performance
- Lead the budgeting and planning process within the Division
- Promote financial understanding, controls and diligence across the relevant Select Divisions, through interaction with non-finance staff on issues such as cash management and asset controls.
- Lead Divisional capital investment program and assist in writing Capital business cases.
- Own Divisional Fixed asset register ensuring assets are accurately recorded, depreciated and physically controlled.

- Fully qualified accountant
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Committed, enthusiastic, resilient and collaborative
- Effective communicator, a strong team ethic and a desire to share knowledge
- Confident, ambitious, well-rounded and able to relate to senior executives
- Self motivated target setter
- Analytical, flexible and creative: able to research complex issues and solve poorly defined problems in innovative ways, with an attention to detail
